It's a word ZorDonofDoom remembers hearing from her cousin during childhood: CONFUZZLEMENT. She won't take credit for the word, but she certainly shows up what it sounds like in her debut EP with InRage Entertainment, the "Confuzzled EP". Just released, ZorDonofDoom's collection of inspiring and deeply personal songs, produced by Automatic, ZorDonofDoom wants to inspire people of all ages to be comfortable in their own skin.
"Welcome to My World was meant to be an anthem. I’d remind myself that I’m not alone in being considered “weird”. I also wrote it to hopefully connect with people who felt the same way. I don’t want others to feel like they’re alone in what they like or be shamed for it. It’s what makes me happy about going to events like comic con and anime conventions... I really wanted to convey
that through my lyrics. Collecting magazines and figurines, wearing
fandom-related shirts and materials! I love all of that. There’s nothing wrong with being that person."
Confuzzlement: a state of absurdity and cringe with too much happening all at the same time. You can no longer think within normalcy.

After finding out about ZorDon's love of anime and that they both had a love for "Spirited Away", Automatic gave ZorDon the challenge to write a song influenced by a character from the movie. “'No Face” is a heavy reference to the Hayao Miyazaki movie, “#SpiritedAway”. There’s a character named #NoFace, and the idea behind his character is the fact that he tries to do everything in his power to be someone he’s not to please the main character, Chihiro. Over the course of the movie he sees what people want and gives it to them in order for him to feel accepted (even when what he’s giving out is a lie). He copies the attitudes of people by literally consuming them and becomes something else, full of greed and privilege. There are also a lot of real world ties that I filled in for the No Face in my song... I feel like we all know someone who gives too much of themselves or acts differently to be accepted. That someone may even be ourselves. Regardless, we don’t need to please anyone else. The most important person in our lives is ourselves. We need to understand and accept who we are without anyone else’s negative influences."

"I wrote 'A Letter For You' after a very emotional incident happened. These were the words I wanted to convey to someone dear to me who I felt like wasn’t ready to hear it. So instead of constantly driving it down their throat, I put it into a song. Everything that I felt and saw inside of them: Their potential. How proud I was of them, and the happiness I felt when I could see them doing their thing. I really just wanted them to see how great they were in my eyes especially when they couldn’t see it themselves.
'Failure' is a song I wrote of my experience and how I grew up feeling in the eyes of my father. Feeling like I couldn’t do anything right no matter how hard I tried stopped me from trying and doing a lot of things. It stopped me from being able to think for myself without guidance from someone else... and for almost 5 years, it made me hate my voice. I used to hate singing because I didn’t feel like I was good enough. I used to burst into tears the moment I felt I messed up no matter how small it was... but fortunately, I found my way. I try to wear my failures as a badge.
Trying and failing is the only way you can get close to being remotely good at something. Practice makes permanent."
