Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Laura Serafine is known for her powerful, haunting vocals and imaginative lyrics. Storytelling is Laura's first language. Her first E.P 'Porcelain' is available on all streaming platforms. Since its release, Laura has evolved as a songwriter and recording artist, as well as a producer. Laura co-produced 'WHO'S TO SAY IF I’M GETTING ANY BETTER?' with Grammy-nominated, Billboard-topping Sony music producer Bruce “Automatic” Vanderveer.
'WHO'S TO SAY IF I’M GETTING ANY BETTER?' is a full length album exploring the human condition and its response to loss. Each song is an exploration of different coping mechanisms and mental states that happen when trying to grapple with the pain of loss and grief. Laura has channeled her healing process into her art and created moments of music which represent the journey of loss and grief through music. The largest question it asks is: If the world is so full of suffering, if life is so full of grief and loss how do you find a way to move through it? If I spend so much time trying to get better, how do I know when I am better? Who's to say if I am getting any better?
Laura Serafine is a dynamic creator who is not limited by genre. Her absolute honesty about her emotions is refreshing. In this album, she is fully vulnerable and has created a hybrid of music and therapy that so many people will connect with.
