Meet our newest artist-in-development, Trish. With a spunky, go-getter attitude, this California girl is eager and passionate to take her career to the next level.
In high school, Trish enjoyed singing but didn't feel as though music was her true calling. It wasn't until she turned 19 when she found herself listening to songs that she resonated with that she thought, "Why don't I try this? Why don't I try to make music?" She bought herself a keyboard in order to learn musical notes and through song tutorials, she began to write her own music. By doing this, she found that music was her true passion.
Some time later, an agent reached out to Trish and asked her to perform a small gig in San Diego. Although afraid, she took on the opportunity, "I think this is the sign. I think if I step out of my comfort zone then I'm going to get something really rewarding." The experience turned out to be the most rewarding one yet, as Trish recalled, "When I stepped off the stage and I hugged everybody, I was like, I have to do this. This is the moment that everything changes. I'm going to make a career out of this."
Scouted by InRage Entertainment A&R and songwriter, Sara Spalione, Trish's true journey as a recording artist began when she auditioned for InRage Entertainment. After being signed, Trish picked up the ukulele and taught herself how to play during quarantine in order to write more of her own music. Her songwriting process is a spiritual one: a certain tune may illicit a specific emotion and a word can connect to that emotion. As she rolls with that process, voila! She has a song.
Trish is strong-hearted with an intense passion for music. To make people feel something, to make them happy, to allow them to resonate with her music are her goals as an artist. Listen below to Trish's debut single, Do or Die produced by Automatic, co-written with Sara Spalione.
